Take the ferry from Ft DeSoto to Shell Key for a few hours of sun and shell collecting. You will be shocked at the amount of beautiful shells all around you. Look online for shuttle info and times.

This barrier island is a great place to see unspoiled beauty and lots of shells! From just a couple miles down the road, this boat shuttle takes you to the island to explore for a period of time.

I've done this a few times and loved it! It's a shuttle that takes you over to Shell Key, the island only accessible by boat. Spend 2, 4 or 6 hours over there looking for shells, snorkeling. You can also take their sunset cruise with your pups!

2 different trip during the day. Trip #1 Shuttle out to Shell Key beginning at 10am 12pm and 2pm returns every 2 hrs last pick is 4 pm. Enjoy unspoiled barrier island and bird sanctuary. Trip # 2. SUNSET CRUISE is an 1 1/2 hr. cruise thru St. Pete Bch. waterways and in the GULF at SUNSET.
