Doughnut Plant

I often find myself biting into a donut and wishing there was more flavor in it. Usually the flavor is in the glaze, but I think it should be throughout the cake. Donut Plant does that really well. The donuts are always fresh and moist, and if they’re stuffed, there’s filling in every bite. The place is constantly innovating with new flavors all the time. I have two favorites here. Gooey and melt-on-your-tongue moist, the tres leches tastes like it’s been stuffed with milk. The peanut butter and blackberry jam is like eating an actual peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dessert—it has plenty of jam, and it’s glazed with rich peanut butter.
