From the beautiful Winter Clove Inn, you can hike numerous trails. Most of them are on trails.com. Our favorite so far is Rip's Rock. It is 5 miles long and strenuous at times. Our 12 and 5 year old hiked it with ease in the winter. In the summer, heat made it very hard.

This historic resort is the trail head for some wonderful trails including Rip’s Rock, Venus Bath, and Lovers Loop.
