This is not for the faint-hearted, a 30km hike that climbs to a height a little over 400m above sea level. Offering spectacular views along the way and campsites to break up the journey. Like most walking tracks in the Whitsundays, insect repellent is essential.

If you have a car, it's well worth driving out to Conway National Park at Brandy Creek. There are several great rainforest walks - from 1 hour circuits to 2/3 day hikes. Take your pick! Check the national parks website for details.

A great way to experience lush rainforest, dry woodland, winding streams, wompoo calls and great views over the area including picturesque views over Cannonvale, Jubilee Pocket and Shute Harbour.

It is my favourite walk, away from the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach. A 20 minute drive into the rainforest and it’s so peaceful and a great walking exercise. The birds singing in the mornings is awesome.
