Atmospheric, restaurant built by the Venetians, originally was a public bath. A mix of Greek/Turkish food and is a favourite of locals and tourists for years.

In the center of Chania, right on a backstreet of the Venetian harbor, Tamam is a local restaurant with a unique vibe. An old European style is evident and will bring you to another era. In perfect harmony, the menu offers simple Mediterranean food with some traditional Greek dishes and local specialties. Although there is plenty of indoor seating, you will find only a few tables outside in the narrow alley. The place is usually full during peak hours. At the same time, people are passing by almost non-stop. It is a convenient spot if you want to have your meal while watching the crowds passing by.

Tucked behind the harbour front this converted Turkish bath has a very cozy atmosphere. Inside seating as well as a few tables outside in the narrow alleyway.

Tamam is one of the most famous places to eat in Chania Old Town as it has been a top choice for both locals and tourists for more than three decades. Tamam is a Turkish word that means: ok, precisely, exactly. As the name suggests you’re going to eat exactly what you’ve been hoping to. Tamam offers both traditional Cretan dishes along with some Turkish specialties, like Giaourtlou Lamb, lamb with yogurt and some tomato-based spicy sauce on top.
