Once a booming railroad town, Johnson City has converted its past to a bright future! The old Tweetsie Railroad is now an easygoing gravel trail that stretches all the way to Elizabethton, TN. It's a great trail to run or walk, but biking is the most fun. Bring your bike or rent one at the Trek store downtown, or at Local Motion which is right next to the trailhead.
