松之山温泉は、草津・有馬に並ぶ日本三大薬湯のひとつ。入ってみれば薬湯と呼ばれる理由もわかります。アブラのような強いにおいに緑色っぽい色、そして猛烈にしょっぱい！大変個性的な温泉なんです。ホウ酸濃度は日本一、塩分もとても多く、さらに最近は美肌に効果抜群と評判のメタ珪酸も豊富。とにかく濃厚。越後の上杉家の隠し湯だったという説もありますが、さぞや効き目があったことでしょう。 Matsunoyama Onsen is one of Japan's three major medicinal hot springs along with Kusatsu and Arima.When you enter, you can see why it is called a medicine bath.
