Welcome to my sailboat—you'll sit, relax, and enjoy the sailing time and musics on my yacht. Chill out, take a drink, eat some delicious Korean snacks, and enjoy the breeze. My sailboat is over 8.6 meters in length and it's located at the Ara Marina. After leaving the pontoon, we'll sail for 130 minutes and you'll participate in the handling of the sailing yacht. You'll learn how to sail or improve your skills as you hoist and trim the sails and steer the yacht. Or you can just relax and enjoy the sun, wind and music or feed the gulls and birds in a special view of the artificial canal. If the wind is good we'll sail the main wide path with tacking or jibing and then sail back, heading to the pontoon. And if the wind is not good, we will take a boating trip along the canal. I will do my best to take your best shots and send it to your e-mail after photoshop edit. You can sail from March to November. Feel free to ask me about private celebrations or groups. On every Saturday night, a special fireworks display takes place. Some people use this time to propose marriage and create special events. Kids are allowed with their families. Experience healthy tofu making from scratch. You will learn how to make tofu using soy bean. Ideal experience for vegetarian and people who love tofu and healthy food. This class include vibrant local Mangwon market tour before class too. During the process, you will taste and cook everything you get in between - tasting soy milk, tasting soft tofu with soy sauce seasoning, cooking soy bean pulp pancake and stir-fry home made Kimchi well matched with tofu! Small class (group of less than 3 people) is led by certified Korean chef Jomin ( She is running Kimchi making class and side dish class on Airbnb too! ) in English, and conducted in her own home kitchen around Hongdae area. This is not a demo class, but a hands on class you make your own tofu from scratch. So you can repeat healthy tofu making back at home for your beloved family and friends. Minhwa(Korean folk painting) refers to Korean folk art produced mostly by unknown artists without formal training, emulating contemporary trends in fine art for the purpose of everyday use or decoration. The paintings worked on a number of levels. They show figures from folk mythology and legends, symbols of happiness, wealth and health, and scenes of everyday life. You can learn how to paint whimsical Minhwa! My studio is located near Hongik univ.st(line 2) and beautiful old railroad park. Come to my studio for the experience. I'll prepare a Hanji(hand made traditional Korean mulberry paper) mounted on a small wood panel(like a framed canvas), sketch drawings (you can choose what you’d like to paint) and every materials for painting. This workshop will take 3-3.5hrs including introductions. You will learn unique traditional coloring techniques of Korean folk painting and make a beautiful artwork. It will be fun and relaxing experience. All levels can enjoy the experience.
