Step into a romantic getaway that seems a million miles from anywhere. A stone fireplace now serves a decorative purpose and adds to the rustic charm of pine paneling. Original stained-glass windows. Newly-built, modern kitchen. Original Topanga lodge remodeled in 2019: open ceiling for a vaulted look with exposed beams. Cozy dining or reading nook perfect for enjoying the sunshine, outdoor seating and hammock for relaxing under the giant oaks. Fits up to 2 adults (1 bed), we allow 3 for families with children. NOTE: There are 3 cabins on the property, each with its own private space. This original Topanga cabin has been reimagined to welcome you in to a truly special retreat. Much love has gone in to all of the details, and we hope you find it the ideal getaway. Enjoy a cozy studio unit newly remodeled and furnished as of 2019. Please note, this cabin and the surrounding outdoor area is surrounded by fencing, but there are 2 other cabins on the property. Enjoy the full kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. Bar seating for two at the kitchen counter plus a cozy corner nook with custom bench seating. Or enjoy the yard or patio under the oak trees with views of the Topanga hillside. Guests have private access to all spaces shown in the photos. The Crystal Cabin is enclosed by a fence, so the outdoor seating, hammock, front of the building, and all indoor spaces are exclusively for you. The washer/dryer is shared with the "Chime House" next door. Please note there are three separate buildings on this property that share a parking area (each with 2 reserved spots each). Each has its own private outdoor area--we welcome you to hike up the hill at the back of the property to access the hiking trails, but please respect the privacy of each unit's private outdoor space (which is clearly separated). Our manager Sara is always available for any questions, and eager to provide the best stay possible. The cabin is off the main road in Topanga State Park, just outside of LA. It's a quick trip to charming coffee shops and restaurants, as well as the town center. The beach is just down the hill, and is a surfing destination. Lots of hiking trails within a short drive. One private parking space is also included at no additional charge. Guests have direct access to exclusive Carbon Beach. Walk out the front door and you're on the sand. There is not an on-site property manager but we are available by email or telephone to answer any questions or concerns you may have. An affluent beach town west of Los Angeles, Malibu consists of 27-miles of prime Pacific coastline. The community is famous for warm, sandy beaches including Surfrider, Topanga, and Point Dume, while restaurants and shopping are within easy reach. There are several restaurants, shopping, bike/surf rentals, fishing, swimming, surfing, paddleboarding and much more within walking distance. There is public transportation via bus, taxi or personal auto. Santa Monica is only 11 miles and Venice just 13. Santa Monica pier is just over 11 miles, Venice is a little more than 13 miles, centrally located it provides easy access to the the famous Highway 1 (pacific coast highway).
