The Star Hut at Rannoch StationUnique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the South East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. inveroran cotage on the west highland waywooden cottage on the west highland way 300 meters past the inveroran hotel where you can get food/drink . . surrounded by mountains and wild life. no shops for 8miles . i am dog friendly. I also work for myself . if need be a bed can be put down for another member of your party. just let you know the cottage is over 140 years old and needs work on it constantly so small things can go wrong but should not be a prob its called rural living. the midges are out(i use smidge)
