Self-drive Speed Boat Adventure
The Sydney Harbour Bridge towers above like a cathedral of steel. The sun shimmers on the water. Breathe the fresh, salty air and gaze at the curved seashell shape of the Opera House and the glassy downtown skyscrapers reflecting the sky. You’re exploring the world famous Sydney Harbour on a boat. Even better, you’re the one behind the wheel. Yup, that’s right. You’re the captain on this unforgettable adventure. This is a fantastic way to see the main highlights of the harbour in a short amount of time - without having to share a boat with hundreds of others or listen to pre-recorded commentary. It’s an authentic, small-group experience with a knowledgeable local guide - giving you an up-close-and-personal glimpse of Sydney’s coolest spots. If you’ve never driven a boat before - don’t panic. The speedboat is safe and easy to operate and I’ll be right there to help you! No experience or licence is required. This two hour self-drive boat tour is perfect if you are short on time. However, if you have time for our three hour journey (https://www.airbnb.com.au/experiences/693197) - the upgrade is definitely worth it. When you factor in time for the safety briefing and preparation, the three hour trip actually gives you nearly twice as much time on the water! It’s a great value way to explore even more of the legendary Sydney Harbour. Other things to note Please wear casual clothes and shoes and bring sunscreen and a hat/cap. I will provide you with a life vest, and a waterproof bag for all your valuables. There are ponchos available if required.

I'm going to show you round Sydney's LGBT past and present in this friendly, relaxed and informative walking tour. You'll hear the stories of prominent gay citizens of the city, as well as important parts of the cultural scene, including the intenationally renowned Mardi Gras parade. As a gay Sydney-sider, I'll also share personal recommendations - culinary, cultural and anything else you're curious about - plus am always happy to answer queeries you might have :) This tour is perfect for solo-travellers, as you can easily connect with others, many of whom are travelling solo too. Of course, couples and groups will also fit in perfectly! For the daytime tour, we will stop midway for coffee/tea/soft drinks, on me! The other thing to note is that the tour is all walking, but it's without any significant hills.
Jen's Top Ten Hidden Sydney Harbour Beaches Tour
Yaama, (meaning hello in Gadigal language, which is one of the many languages used by the Indigenous clans of the Eora Nation) Feel free to email or SMS me if the date or the time you prefer is not scheduled. See my favourite hidden gems in this exclusive area of Sydney Harbour "where the buses dont go" This is a part-walking & part-driving experince and we hop in and out of the car to enable you to get the most out of our time together. Hear some history of the Gadigal and Bidjigal Indigenous clans who have been the traditional owners of this land for over 65 000 years. After meeting me at the Rose Bay Ferry Wharf, we'll head off into the Eastern Suburbs. It is an easy walk to the first beach ( only 350 metres) with some stairs. Here you have a choice to walk further along the beautiful foreshore or to drive with me. I strongly encourage the walk as it offers superb views of Sydney harbour, Opera House and Bridge. If you’ve not yet seen Iconic Bondi Beach, I am happy to drop you off there for lunch and recommend local cafes. Don't forget swim gear and towels - we have stock of the Destination Towel range and re-usable bottles on board if you forget. Please use a re-usable water bottles. We collect as much plastic as possible on ourbeaches to avoid it returning into the harbour. Together we'll "live like a local" and have fun.
Blue Mountains Hike up the Three Sisters
With a like-minded group of explorers, you’ll travel by scenic train from Sydney's CBD to tackle a full-day trek through the Blue Mountains wilderness. You’ll explore lush forests, waterfalls and stunning vistas with incredible views of the Eucalypt-filled valleys below before climbing 300m/1000ft (over 800 steps in total!) to emerge right beneath the Three Sisters themselves. People travel from all over the world to view the sisters from Echo Point's viewing platform - but this experience is for those with a true sense of adventure, who want to get off the beaten path and into the wilderness. Over the course of the day, you'll be walking 14 km (9 miles). But don't worry about keeping up with the pace. There will be plenty of time to soak it all in and share the good vibes of this walk. And the best thing? All the proceeds go to help kids in need, as Emu Trekkers is a 100% not-for-profit organisation run by volunteer guides. Note: We're relaunching this hike after a break during COVID. You can be sure this is the same great hike all our reviews talk about.

Sydney's Convict Colony — History Tour
ON THIS UNIQUE EXPERIENCE: Join a passionate history-guide on an exploration of Sydney’s notorious convict heritage at Sydney Cove & The Rocks. Expect fascinating stories, delivered with energy & insight, as we explore the remarkable lives of sailors, soldiers, scallywags, convicts, con-artists, craftsmen, larrikins & low-lives as they began to trade rum, quarry stone & etch a living upon Sydney's shoreline. Over 2.5 hours, we'll unpack the process of convict transportation in graphic detail — retracing the steps of its curious colonial characters & their immediate effect Sydney's ancient Indigenous clans. We'll also investigate the haunts and schemes of local street gangs, gambling dens & opium saloons in the 19th C. Navigating the cobbled alley-ways, hidden corridors & forgotten monuments of this port-side settlement, we'll venture off the beaten track to dig up its memories - the good, the bad & the plague ridden. Designed to engage both Sydney locals & visitors, this is a journey through time & space that takes history off the shelf and brings it to life with vivid descriptions, imagery & an infectious passion for the past. N.B: This tour has a 2 person booking minimum. This walking history-tour is best suited for guests aged 12+ and contains some adult themes from Sydney's history. Baby Animals, Boomerangs & BBQ Lunch
@AustralianWineAndCheese #AustralianWineAndCheese Did you know Australia lost 30% of it’s koala population in recent bushfires? Did you know koalas could be extinct by the year 2050? Koalas & Tazzie Devils are both endangered animals and this Experience donates $2 per day, every day, ALL YEAR to Aussie Ark. Look them up online. Your booking will help breed koalas ❤️ There's three things you must do when visiting Australia: 1. Meet the native animals 2. Learn to throw a boomerang 3. Enjoy an authentic Australian BBQ. Yes it includes shrimp ;) We will literally "throw shrimp on the barbie". Vegetarian + vegan options available - no worries mate! Experience all these things in half a day, with your own real-life local! (Lol). Perfect for families, friends, solo travellers and anyone with a big Australian checklist! In order to comply with Airbnb Animal Guidelines, guests won't be able to pet the animals or take selfies with them. We're driving an hour away from Sydney. To The 'Australian Reptile Park.'
