Very pretty and very large public place to stop for a break and grab some street food during the summer. I would consider this the very heart of Vancouver. Awesome beach! (Clothing optional!) Bring water and food with you because you might want to stay here all day.. Also be prepared for a big staircase up/down. Also bring cash so you can buy food on the beach! Drinking is not technically legal in public spaces in Vancouver but lots of people sell beers on the beach too. Just keep it hidden and you'll be fine.
