This cabin is the epitome of the up north lake cabin. Just outside in the summer there is fishing, canoeing, hiking, & swimming. RUNNING WATER 5/1-10/31.
FROM 11/1-5/15 we use a composting toilet. WINTER-BRING YOUR OWN WATER. Great location to Ice fish, snowmobile, ski, or snow shoe out of with many miles of trails right out the door! Must have 4wd in the winter.
Only have enough parking for 1 vehicle & a Lite trailer IN THE WINTER. Self Clean during the winter

The Barn at Poplar
The Barn at Poplar is located 40 minutes from Grand Marais, just off the Gunflint Trail on beautiful Poplar Lake! You can either enjoy the lake from the deck, screen porch or take the gentle slope down to the dock for easy access to fishing, swimming, or canoeing. The cabin includes four bedrooms, two baths and a fully-equipped kitchen with brand-new appliances. We have a canoe for guest use and there is a public access nearby if you want to bring your own boat.
