Our family home is part Georgian townhouse and part enormous Welsh cottage. The common rooms are arranged in series from front to back with the exception of the music room. There are two staircases that would once have served master and servant and there is a large fireplace in the living room with an oak framed inglenook. We recently extended the back of the house with a conservatory and pergola that connect to the garden. Most of the house has been recently refurbished.
