The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. This vintage horse trailer was reimagined into a Tiny house by Lane and Laurie as a couples project in 2018 which they completely gutted and remodeled using beautiful natural materials like wood, old fashioned wood cabinetry, handmade ceramic tiles and woven bamboo. Bluebird Tiny House is tucked into a secluded forest meadow, named for the bluebirds that spend part of the year there and there are miles of private trails to enjoy. One of the best views on the Mountain in this spacious cabin! Twin Oaks, built in 1921, has been very nicely remodeled. The original flooring that came from wood milled locally is kept in most of the cabin. Enjoy comfort, coziness and the beauty of the Mountain! This cabin can sleep 4 people: the master bedroom has a Cal king bed, and the sunroom has 2 twin beds... You can sleep an additional 2 in the loft queen bed.
