Upstate New York is like a treasure hunt. Lot's of interesting towns near by. Endless trails and lakes to explore. Here are the perfect 4 days vacation to our house: DAY 1: - On you way up via NY Thruway(I-87) Harriman, Exit 16, stop by the Woodberry CommonPremium Outlets, do some shopping. - Then take Exit 20 to Woodstock for lunch at YUM YUM or ORIOLE 9 restaurants. And walk around and check out all the shops. - Or stop by DIMOND MILLS (BLACKBARN) at the town of SAUGERTIES have lunch by the back patio and overlooking a waterfalls. There are lots shops that you can check it out. - Then use GPS going up to Hunter Mountain to our house. - On you way to our house, you can stop by the supermarket TOPS do some basic grocery shopping. - After settled down at the house, you can take a walk to the ski slope, if it's a nice day, take a ZiPLINE up to the mountain top to see the beautiful view. - Then to SCRIBNER'S CATSKILL LODGE for a drink and see the beautiful view. DAY 2: - Breakfast at home or to FELLOW CAFE walking distance from the house. - If it's a sunny day then drive to KAATERSKILL FALLS to see the highlight of Hunter, walk to the viewing platform (easier just asking people where it is) to the the wonder falls, the best part is to venture down to the lower falls (ask people how to get there), please wear good tracking shoes/sneaker and find some tree stick to help you down, if it's a warm day, wear a bathing suit under your cloth and go for a dip in the bottom of the Falls. I consider it's the most adventure experience visiting Hunter. Will not recommend for people with health issue or their elderly parents. - You can also visit our SOUTH/NORTH LAKES for swimming, boating, kayaking or picnic. Beautiful walking trails. - Dinner at home or to LILLIAN restaurant of drinks or dinner.
