There are many excellent restaurants to choose from in all price ranges. I like good healthy food that I can't cook myself and since many cook fresh and local, that's what I'm recommending.
Located a mile away in Sheffield. Great meeting place for breakfast and lunch. Homemade soups, great salads and sandwiches. They prepare a once a week dinner menu you can order for pick-up. Call in and pick up lunch for your hike or ski day! The soups are homemade and delicious. Great biking stop.

The Stagecoach Tavern
854 S Undermountain RdA real country Inn experience and really good food.
Just love this restaurant and the bar is a great place to eat a lite meal and meet the locals, but get there early 5pm or later 7pm. It’s a gathering scene for locals and they don't take reservations. It's worth the wait. Food here is just wonderful!

Way out of the way but close to Sheffield! This little Cafe/Country store is worth getting lost to find! Really good coffee and croissant! Want to take a country drive? Put this on the list...but set your GPS before you leave Sheffield as reception is sketchy once you get out there and if you don’t study the drive first, you will get lost! That’s part of the fun!

Historical Stockbridge Inn with creaky floors and that “Step back in time” feel. While the dining room and backyard are where most people go to eat, I still prefer the bar. Small and cozy venue but try an off hour to get in.

This roadside food stop is on the way between Sheffield and Gt. Barrington. It can be crowded in summer and has picnic tables outside for dining or stop and pick-up. Great place if you have little ones .
