The property is on 25 acres of land with a mixture of lush Huon Valley pasture and meandering forest through which a small creek flows into the Huon River. Appledore is a working farm you can explore at your leisure. Pull an apple from the tree and feed the cows if you wish or cuddle a lamb (if you can catch one)

Outside is an acre of lawn and native gardens, birds and occasional wildlife, plenty of parking and large decks with views in all directions. Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.
