Join me on a walk through the city's medieval heart, where I'll reveal the stories behind its ancient walls. • We'll meet in Piazza Salimbeni, the backdrop for medieval power struggles, and wander down the city's narrow streets, discovering hidden corners. • Next, we'll walk along a section of the Via Francigena, a sacred path to Rome that pilgrims have traveled for a thousand years. • Our journey will end at the Duomo di Siena, one of Italy’s most breathtaking Gothic cathedrals, where I'll guide you to masterworks by Michelangelo and Donatello and reveal the symbolism hidden in the cathedral’s architecture. I’ll show you new facets of this unchangingly beautiful city and details visitors usually ignore.
