Fresh Continental Breakfast, with tea, coffee, fresh fruit, your own Kitchenette, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, kettle and fridge. Very comfortable king size bed, high quality bedding, towels, china etc. Enjoy light airy double room with views and access to south facing garden, free wifi, television and sofa. Dukes Cottage is a beautiful and newly refurbished cottage located in Handbridge only a 5 minute walk to the Chester City Centre, the city walls and the River Dee. The house has just been completely renovated and completed in July 2021 to a very high standard with a beautiful bathroom including a roll top bath and shower and modern kitchen with all appliances. Built over 100years ago and located within just five minutes of the river and city centre, the property enjoys an amazing location.

Charming Canalside Cottage

Our comfortable cottage has easy access into the heart of Chester. The garden gate opens onto the canal towpath with a ten minute stroll up to our local Cheshire Cat pub. Alternatively, stay in and snuggle up with the wood burner. On a fine day, turn left out of the back gate for a pleasant 35 minute walk, following the canal directly into the beautiful city of Chester. Maybe take a boat trip on the river Dee? Alternatively, Chester Zoo is just a 10 minute drive, continuing down the A41.

This house really does offer a fantastic location next to the Grosvenor Park and in close proximity to shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, Chester racecourse, and the Roman Amphitheatre.

This is a detached house in the centre of a picturesque Cheshire Village. It borders on the canal so a lovely 45 minute walk into Chester with all its culture and history and Chester Zoo is just a 5 minute drive away. Christleton itself has a vibrant Village Pub ( Ring o’Bells) that serves delicious food, a village pond (with ducks) and a children's play park. PLease note that some previous guests make reference to a hot tub, but we no longer permit guests to hire a hot tub.

The property is 15 mins walk from the centre of historic Chester and 5 mins from a supermarket/pharmacy and Bache station (on Chester-Liverpool line)
