Hike Table Mountain with SA Local
There are two hiking trial options, one being Platteklip George and the other India Venster that can be experienced. The Platteklip hike is for beginners and easier whereas the India Venster is for the more experienced hikers. Which ever option is chosen the hike will begin early to jump start day, see the sunrise wile hiking and miss the blistering afternoon sun on the way down. The meeting point will be at the ticket booth of Table Mountain. Once decided on which hike will be done we will make our way to the starting point of the hike. A few minutes will be taken to discuss the safety precautions and things to be aware of on the hike. We will then do a light stretch exercise and commence on the hike. If hiking at a nice comfortable pace it will take about 1:45 minutes one way and if you are a more serious hiker it will take a shorter time. There will be kinds of wonderful things to be experience on this hikes, such as plants, scenery, waterfalls etc. When reaching the top you will be able to experience Table Mountain and see all it has to offer at the top. You have the options to return to the bottom by hiking or via the cable car. Hiking benefits are great. Other things to note Hikes are exciting and fun, so be prepared to see breath taking views and break a sweat. A bag is advisable to put your belongings in and always dress weather appropriate. Hike or Cable Car.
Boulders Beach - African Penguins home
I will take you to Boulders Beach the most remarkable viewing point of the African Penguins. These African Penguins have colonies from Southern Namibia and all the way around the South African coast. I will will make your experience rewarding as this is the only place where you will be able to swim with the Penguins in close proximity. Penguins are living in the wild and therefore although you get to see them up close and personal there will be no direct contact as I am committed to protecting the welfare of these little guys. The Penguin numbers are fast declining because of over fishing and marine pollution and my goal is teach tourists about our Penguin population, as they are now classified as an endangered species. As this is a private tour, there is flexibility in photo opportunities along the way, and including stopping to take pictures with the seals. Other things to note Bring your camera to take lots of pictures.
Hike Table Mountain with a Guide
We will hike to the summit of the iconic Table Mountain and experience why it's one of the New7Wonders of Nature. We will take our favorite more easily missed paths to the top. There are many routes that go up and together we will find one that suits your skill and confidence level. The trails all include a combination of hiking, varied levels scrambling and exposure to heights that will allow us to reach incredible viewpoints of Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles, Camps Bay, Back Table, and the Mother City. If you have a specific route in mind we can help you determine if it is suitable for you. The trails we do include India venster, Kasteelspoort, Skeleton gorge, and platteklip gorge but if possible and you are able we can do some more wild options. En route, we will take you into the world of the breathtaking Fynbos Floral Kingdom and the very first occupants of Southern Africa who named the mountain 'Hoerikwaggo' or Mountain in the sea. Once we reach the summit we will go to one of the awesome viewpoints to take some summit photos or just enjoy the view from the top. If the Cable Car Station is open then the hike will finish there, where you can then spend some more time at the top and soak in some more views or go and enjoy a well-deserved treat from the restaurant, my recommendations being their coffee, cold beer, appletiser, and milk tart. Other things to note Experience duration is dependent on the route and guests fitness and should take between 3-5 hours. The experience ends at cable car, if its closed then please add another 1-2 hours for the hike down.
Experience the Stellenbosch Winelands
A celebration of smaller vineyards driven by passion, honesty and quality. Our first stop is on the Eastern side of Stellenbosch at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains. This is a special location tucked away in the most northern corner of Paradyskloof (Paradise Valley). Pockets of special vines produce a superlative and memorable first tasting. A journey through the vibrant and tree lined streets of Stellenbosch is up next. Steeped in history and charm we'll tell a few stories from the time we spent here during our youth before we reach the Banghoek Valley. Breath-taking views set the tone for an unforgettable experience with the focus on letting our guests understand the sense of place and taste. The award winning wines are brilliantly crafted and produced with the help of the location's very own microclimate. I struggle to believe there is a better setting to taste wine anywhere in the country. Lunch then takes place at either the Boschendal Farm Deli Restaurant or the restaurant at Zorgvliet Wine Estate. The final destination is at a cute family owned vineyard called Mitres Edge where we host the tasting privately in their underground cellar built below their family home often with one of the true matriarch's of the industry and her 6 doggos. 3 different wineries all unique in location, style and charm combining for a true Stellenbosch Winelands experience.
⭐ Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike
We will be hiking up Lions Head, Cape Town's most Instragram'able hike. We plan to either catch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean or sunrise from the Hottentots Holland mountains. We enjoy some amazing photo opportunities before our descent. During a sunset hike, we descend in the dark using our flashlights (provided). During a sunrise hike, we may hike the first part in the dark using our flashlights (provided). This hike has been an age old tradition for locals especially during the full moon and on clear/windless nights/mornings where the lights of the city below dazzle and the moon and stars show off its beauty in the night sky. Other things to note Wear clothing you are comfortable hiking in. Ensure you wear descent pair of hiking/walking shoes. A fair level of fitness is required. You need to be comfortable with heights. Start times vary based on Sunset and Sunrise and it is critical that we start on time in order to witness Sunrise/Sunset

Discover township life with a local
I'll be your guide on our interactive walk exploring the authentic diversity of township life. At first glance, life may seem a daily struggle but delve deeper and we’ll find a place of friendship and resilience. Our itinerary begins at MADaboutART, a non-profit organisation using art and creative expression to support children to make positive life choices. You'll see our gallery of narrative artwork telling inspirational stories of the lives of children in the township. In the streets around MADaboutART you’ll experience the culture and ways of the township. We'll see many sights along the way; traditional wooden homes and Government-built brick homes, cattle and pigs grazing, daily laundry, every day is different. We’ll visit the corner shop to find out which foods are family favourites. Finally, we return to MADaboutART to meet the children as they sing, paint, bead, whatever the activity of the day is (curriculum dependent). On Sunday mornings we can join a local church congregation for part of their service. We hope you'll take a little township magic home with you (and leave a little piece of your heart with us) Other things to note: Unique gift items for sale made by children at MADaboutART (R50-R250), bead bracelets, cards & art. Transport available at extra cost. Ground can be uneven, let me know if you’d find this difficult

In our session, you can experience the divine practice of channelling through the sound vibration practice of Sound Healing combined with a Yogic Psychic sleep called Yoga Nidra. You will be welcomed and introduced to the space as you sip on a tea of your choice. From there we will dive straight into the healing session. Opening with meditation & then lying down to enjoy an hour filled journey of sound healing guided by the practice of Yoga Nidra. I have 7 Himilayan Singing bowls that are aligned to the notes of the 7 Chakras. Ensuring that each session helps to aid in Chakra Balancing. There will be a gentle wake up followed by a serving of herbal Rooibos tea, a special indigenous tea of South Africa. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the session or what's fun to do in and around Cape Town. I look forward to welcoming you to my sacred space & practice of sound healing. Please note this experience is held outside.
Magical Forest Hike > Connect with Nature and Soul
This is my favourite forest hike around Cape Town, it is a circular loop offering incredible forest and Cape Town scenery. We start at Newlands forest fire station and walk through the dense forest up to the top contour path, and then walk across to the famous blockhouse above Rhodes Memorial. This hike is fairly protected from harsh wind and sun which makes it an ideal hike for most kinds of weather. The hike is about 10km and takes around 4 hours depending on pace and brunch stop. Other things to note The walk is along a path that is at times rocky, and the path has a fair ascent. I recommend a medium or above level of walking fitness. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns
