Oldest settled area in San Diego. It contains Old Town San Diego State Historic Park and Presidio Park, both of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Museums, restaurants, shops, etc.

This is the place to go for Mexican heritage, historical sites, colorful shops, and eclectic restaurants. Two fun, popular (and crowded) events here each year are Cinco de Mayo and the Day of the Dead festival.
