Fantastic lake for swimming, kayaking, canoeing. Motorboats are also allowed. To access the beach, you must be a Stockbridge resident. Simply tell the attendant the address of where you are staying (11 Quiet Knoll) and they will let you in.

Launch from the boat launch on Route 183. If you follow the lake along the right shoreline, it'll lead into a quiet section that breaks off the lake. There's a wonderful island in the middle of the lake, too, that has a couple picnic tables for relaxing!

Fantastic lake for kayaking and canoeing. Motor boats are also allowed. Public dock entrance for boats is different than the public beach.

Great place to watch a sunset, but bring a flash light for the 1/2 mile trek back to the parking lot. Note: Park at the Arcadian Shop in Lenox. This is a very cool local outdoor store similar to REI with a great bike shop in the basement. Anyone in the store can give you great recommendations on hiking in Kennedy and any other great outdoor places to venture.”
