Experience this 1.10 mile, out and back trail near Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 28 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, walking, and other nature trips, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are May through November.

This is one of the easiest hiking paths at the entrance to the National Park Welcome Center. This path is 0.5 miles to the waterfall and 0.5 miles back to the Welcome Center. With a creek running all the way and name cards with information at the base of every tree, you will feel like you and your family have had an excursion of a lifetime. Rating: Easy

Cataract Falls is a short hike (3/4 mile round trip) behind Sugarlands Visitor’s center . Great and easy trail for all ages.

This is a great family friendly hike for all ages. It’s less than 1 mile for the round trip, so it’s great for kids and the elderly! The trailhead is right behind the Sugarland Visitor Center at the entrance of the national park.

Short walk from Sugarlands Visitors Center to a small waterfall.. I usually walk this along with the Gatlinburg Trail for an easy 4-5 mile journey to keep myself in shape physically & mentally!
