Hillsdale and surrounding is a serious foodie area! There is the prominent Crossroads, a brunch spot that is open on weekends. People come from all over to eat there. Roe Jan Brewery is more than just a Brewery- it has really good food. There is the O Diner for traditional Diner food and Hillsdale house. In Egremont, about 10 minutes away you can find the Zagat rated John Andrews, the OLd Mill and Swiss Hutte, which is by Catamount ski resort
The food is absolutely divine! It is very pricey though. It is listed as one of the 25 best Farm to Table Restaurants! It is on the way to Great Barrington, which is a wonderful town to visit. Make sure you call and make a Reservation ahead of time!
