The Tipi Tent for up to 4 people provides you with your own cosy space to enjoy the serenity that comes with being in the countryside.

Fully furnished including an outdoor fire pit, carpet flooring, doormat, hand-woven cotton rugs, a low rose-wood table. Our Tipi Tents provide you with one double & two single beds, as well as pillows, duvets, bed linen and throws to keep you warm and toasty.

Our sites provide family friendly and truly immersive experiences with a range of beautiful glamping accommodation under canvas. Tailored area-specific activities and courses are designed to give you the chance to learn and connect with others and the environment. Our onsite facilities are there to make your stay as easy and as comfortable as possible. Redwood Rare Breeds is a new rare breeds farm park in the making. Located on the edge of the Mendip Hills, Somerset between the popular hotspots of Frome and Bruton. The campsite field, known as Field 725, is perched on the top of a hill with outstanding views of the surrounding area, flanked on one side by untouched natural woodland adding to the wildness of the site and enhancing the opportunities for getting back to nature and in touch with your wild side.

There is a toilet trailer with flushing toilets and a shower trailer with hot water on site, as well as a coffee van serving hot drinks and pastries and a campsite shop for firewood or BBQ coals. Individual accommodation options vary, safari bell tents include orthopedic mattresses on both their double and single beds, lights, tables, sofas and rugs. Outside you will also find an outdoor fire bowl with a grill, a cool box can also be provided with freezer blocks that can be exchanged at reception. Please look at individual accommodation details for further information if you wish to stay in a different accommodation type.

Alongside our wide range of accommodation options we are offering a programme of daily activities that can be booked separately to or with your tent. Activities include daily forest school and bushcraft/nature connection activities including walks in the local area, yoga and similar movement activities, plus evening fireside food and fun.

Frome is just over 10 minutes’ drive away, voted by The Times as ‘one of the best places to live in Britain’, this bustling market town is equally as exciting to visit. The creative hub, sees many artists and craftspeople gather in its town, showcasing their work in the independent shops on its winding lanes and is also host to the popular Frome Festival, spotlighting the artistic talents of its community. The Hauser and Wirth gallery is also 10 minutes away in the car. Featuring work from both up and coming and world-renowned artists, the gallery is home to internationally famed art and architecture as well as a multi-purpose arts centre. For one of the most stunning spots of natural beauty in the area you’re going to have to travel a little further. The Mendip Hills are half an hour’s drive away but well worth every extra minute in the car. Comprising of rocky paths, sloping land, wooded habitats and grasslands full of wildflowers, the Mendip Hills are a beautiful spot for a long day of exploring.

Osip is 10 minutes’ away from Be Wilder in Bruton and describes itself as a ‘farm-to-table’ restaurant – there's no menu for their dinner servings, instead you're trusting the Michelin-star chef’s expertise to provide you with an unforgettable meal. At The Chapel, also in Bruton and set inside an old 17th-century chapel, is as adept at serving coffee as cocktails and has its own artisan bakery catering for every craving, from scones at afternoon tea to takeaway pizzas. If you choose to dine in, the south-facing outdoor terrace is a stunning spot to dine. The Three Horseshoes Inn, in Batcombe is five minutes’ drive away from the site. A very popular spot among locals and visitors alike, they serve hearty pub classics alongside their great range of beer, topping off their classic country pub atmosphere with a lovely outdoor beer garden and roaring fires inside in winter.
