Who says holidays homes have to be magnolia - our lovely Welsh getaway has a bright frontage and comfortable interior, with a splash of colour, original and vintage touches.

Spread across 3 floors, with a new kitchen and shower room, rural views and sunny garden, the house is a short walk into Criccieth and its castle, restaurants, shops and 2 beaches. Close to Snowdonia, Portmeirion, golf, sea sports and countless walks. Perfect for friends, families and longer stays between Nov and Mar.

The house is a terraced house, we think Victorian, with an older cottage incorporated at the back.

On the ground floor you will find a comfortable living room with a Smart TV, DVD player and the wifi hub. There is seating in here on two sofa's and a comfortable chair. There is an original fireplace (not working), which adds character to the room. Also a through dining room with the original range and cupboards and a compact, but really well equipped kitchen - with brand new appliances. In this room you will also find a selection of children drawing and colouring materials and some family games. Access to the garden is from here.

On the first floor you will find a family sized bathroom, a lovely, spacious single with a desk, views to the hills behind and a large master with new kingsize bed and views onto fields, plus the sea and Criccieth Castle in the distance.

Up one more floor and you will find a cute single tucked into the eaves, a newly installed shower room and toilet. Next to this there is a spacious twin with ample storage that looks out to the front of the house.

At the back of the property you will find a fenced, sun trap garden with fields behind. There is a wooden bench and there is a table and chairs available for you to put out, plus a fire pit that you are welcome to use.

We welcome dogs, but ask you to supervise them to avoid them getting into the field or neighbours garden. Dogs must not be left unsupervised for long periods in the house, they are not allowed on the furniture and you must pick up after your dog.

I live with my husband and 3 kids, alongside a menagerie of a dog, cat, fish, hamster and a gerbil.

We live in a leafy suburb of South Manchester and enjoy park walks with the dog, eating out and of course ferrying the kids to their various social engagements. My husband and I both like running and I'm part of a book group that often manages to discuss the book after the important stuff of life has been chewed over and a glass of wine consumed! I work in communications and my husband works in financial administration.

We love our home, so if we come to stay with you we will respect yours.

When we are travelling without the kids we either go walking or a city break with shopping, eating out and art galleries. With the kids it is more likely to be a mixture of walking, museums and outdoors activities. If we go abroad it tends to be self-catering places we have found online and not package deals.
