Hidden away in a beautiful Welsh Valley, Dreamers Hideaway is a cosy yurt surrounded by nature.
A traditional handmade ger on the inside, featuring a log burner to keep you warm and toasty.
Outside the yurt sits infront of a large wildlife pond, attracting all kinds of nature. We have dark skies too perfect for star gazing by the firepit!
We sit at the bottom of the Kerry Ridgeway, offering plenty of opportunity for walking, hiking and mountain biking. Beautiful views await you at the top!
Sehemu
Nestled in our little valley, sheltered from the elements, our yurt site is a beautiful haven for you to enjoy connecting with the natural world, whilst being held in comfort and warmth. It embraces simplicity, with a simple outdoor kitchen & sink area, a hot shower and a compost toilet (Don't worry... we clear this between every guest!) .
The cosy yurt sleeps 2 and features a comfortable double bed (bedding provided), a small but mighty log burner, and plenty of pillows and bean bags for you to lay back on and relax.
The delightful kitchen gives you access to a twin gas stove, a tip of the range cooler box stocked with frozen blocks, and all the pots and utensils you need to prepare your food. With a large panoramic window you can view out to the valley below or watch the birds, bats, dragonflies and damselflies dart over our natural pond. If you fancy more a more rustic experience then you can cook over the fire pit (equipment provided on request)
The shower cubicle has endless hot water, space for hanging towels and clothes as well as plant based body wash, shampoo and conditioner for you to use.
Dreamers Hideaway is an environmentally friendly site and therefore we do not have mains electricity. We instead use solar power to provide lights in the yurt as well as a power hub with USB sockets for charging mobiles (although we recommend hiding those away).
For those cosy and relaxing evenings alternatively use the simple fairy lights and lanterns to light the yurt and sit back and enjoy the cracking of the fire and opportunity to slow down reconnect. All you will hear is the stream & local Tawny Owls.
We supply you with enough wood for your stay to be able to use the log burner and firepit.
Inside the yurt is a guest manual featuring plenty of top tips to get the most out of your stay.
The yurt is situated very close to the Welsh/English border in a tranquil peaceful valley... Whilst sitting by the yurt and listening to nothing but nature and being care free is our main recommendation there are plenty of fantastic walks and mountain bike rides to do right from the yurt.
Or jump in the car and start exploring... we have delightful historic market towns to from Montgomery, Bishops Castle to Clun all within easy driving and all feature lovely cafes and cosy pubs.
If your craving the sound of water there are some stunning long stretches of sand at Aberdovey and at Borth. For something more placid, head to lake Bala and Lake Vyrnwy or trek around the beautiful Elan Valley reservoirs.
For lovers of hiking, Cadre Idris looms just over an hour away and offers some amazing views of Snowdonia National Park, Lynn Peninsula and the welsh coast.
We feature plenty of walks and day trip ideas in the guest manual.
