Our Lodge is perfect for staycations, reunions, retreats, and family gatherings, there is something here for everyone to enjoy!

Heated pool is open April through October, weather dependent. Pool is scheduled to open April 8 however, this is weather dependent!

We are excited to announce that as of Feb 1, 2022, we now have 5 bedrooms. We converted a living area on the first floor to a bedroom with a king size bed, TV, and desk.

THE ENTIRE HOME IS YOURS TO ENJOY!
4,800 square feet of living space on 2 levels with ample windows to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding the property. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunroom while birds sing their morning songs and enjoy their breakfasts outside your window. In the evening, watch the deer wander across the fields in your direction, grazing for their dinners.

Multiple outdoor and indoor seating areas provide privacy for those who want it and yet plenty of space for groups to gather. The Main Floor features an open floor concept between the living room and kitchen. The living room has built in shelves loaded with books and games as well as a big screen smart TV to enjoy from the comfortable leather furniture. The kitchen is WELL STOCKED with just about anything you might need - all you need to bring is the food and your choice of morning beverage! The Coffee Bar offers a Keurig, coffee maker, French Press, Tea Pot and coffee grinder. An additional refrigerator is located in the attached garage. The dining room table seats up to 12 people. A private front living room offers versatile sitting and sleeping space (queen & twin sleeper sofas) and a smart TV. A glass enclosed sunroom offers additional comfortable space for enjoying morning coffee or afternoon drinks and a panoramic view of the back patio & yard.

An extra large second floor recreation room has a 75" smart TV, regulation size pool table, foosball ball, board game table and sofa sectional. A day bed with trundle and full size sleeper sofa are also in the rec room.

Soak in our outdoor Hot Tub (6 person) under the stars, open year around! Enjoy floating in the 40 X 18 foot HEATED built in pool, open April through October 31. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK! The pool is 8' at the deep end and 3.5' at the shallow end. Relax on the outdoor patio with a gas grill and fire pit (bring your own firewood), surrounded by flower beds and open yard for games. Play basketball by the garage on paved concrete. 2 sets of corn hole boards are provided for you.

SLEEPING SPACE:
Here's how the bedrooms and bathrooms are situated:

MAIN FLOOR:
Bedroom 5: This bedroom, with a king size bed, TV, and desk, is ideal for anyone who has limited ability in walking up steps. There is a full bathroom (shower only) on the main floor, which is a short walk from this bedroom.

SECOND FLOOR:
Master Bedroom has a king size bed, private bathroom with shower and extra large soaking tub. There is a twin size fold out chair in the master bedroom* and a crib with linens provided in the walk in closet.

Bedroom 2 has a king size bed and adjoins a full bath (tub/shower combo) that also connects to the hallway (to be shared with the Rec Room)

Bedrooms 3 & 4: Each bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be easily put together if desired. These 2 bedrooms share a private hallway and full bathroom (tub/shower combo) connected to the private hallway.

Rec Room has a twin size day bed and trundle bed in the alcove, a queen size sleeper sofa and full size sleeper sofa*. Guests in this room can share the bathroom with bedroom 2 or use the one on the main floor that is at the bottom of the back steps close to the Rec Room. This sleeping space is considered shared space in the listing.

Two air mattresses (1 queen & 1 twin) and their linens are available and can be set up in multiple locations. They are found in the Rec Room closet.

*If you need sleeper sofas set up please let us know, we have some reinforcements to improve the sleeping quality and will set them up for you.
Listed rate is for up to 12 people, if you have more than 12 people there is a fee of $35/per person per night. We assume double occupancy for beds unless otherwise notified. Please note that we reserve the right to request additional payment if we find there were more guests present than the number that was indicated.

Guests have the entire home to themselves including the garage. The detached garage and basement is not accessible to guests.
All guests will be asked to sign a liability waiver upon check-in.

Liberty Hill Lodge is located on 5 acres of open space and is surrounded by farmland. There is only one other house within view at the top of the hill behind the house. The Lodge is located 2 miles from downtown New Philadelphia, close to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Amish Country is 20 minutes away, several wedding barns and venues are within 30 minutes, and Atwood Lake is 20 minutes away.

Hi! I currently live in a small town in Ohio near where I grew up with my husband and stepson. I was in the military for 23 years and have lived and traveled all over the world. Now that I am retired, I have more freedom and time to explore more of the world, enjoy family and friends, and teach yoga. I enjoy the non-touristy, quiet places that offer a deeper glimpse into the culture and lifestyle of the place I'm visiting. I prefer the relaxing quaintness of "out of the way" places that I stumble upon instead of the glitzy, crowded, noisy tourist attractions. I like to immerse myself in the local culture wherever I am - eat the local food and wine, enjoy the local activities and events, and talk to the locals.

My favorite vacations have been Canary Islands, Switzerland, Portugal and Croatia. I travel with like minded friends who enjoy and respect the same things I do - traveling for the experience and memories!
