The condo has been completely remodeled in calming tones of grey and white. Open and light with grey porcelain tile, Italian marble Silestone counter tops, white kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, AC in both the main area and bedroom, 2 large wall mounted TV’s, beautiful local artwork and large floor to ceiling windows in the living area providing views of the resort fountains, palm trees and the ocean.

Sehemu
Welcome to the ‘Royal Coconut Coast!’ Kauai Beach Villas are perfectly situated for you to enjoy short drives to all that Kauai has to offer. Just a short 5 minute drive from the airport brings you to a beautiful tree tunneled entrance to the resort and ocean.

From the private lanai you can watch the sun rise over the ocean or watch it rise from the comfort of your California King bed instead!

You also have FULL ACCESS to the pools at Kauai Beach Resort next door. There are four swimming pools including 2 lagoon pools, waterfalls, a 75-ft lava tube slide, two whirlpool spas and a kid-friendly pool with a sand bottom. Order a shave ice or something from the bar poolside and enjoy heaven under a palm tree!

Within 5 minutes of the our resort is the Wailua River, Fern Grotto, Wailua Falls (*think opening credits of Fantasy Island*), Opaeka’a Falls, Lydgate State Beach Park (with a fantastic playground and rocked in beach area for littles) and the Kapa’a Bike path – 7 miles of gorgeous shoreline you can walk or cycle up. Nearly next door to the condo is the Wailua County Golf course – situated right on the coast. Our central location on the island also puts you midway between Hanalei/Princeville in the north and Poipu/Waimea to the south. Convenient to everything!

What we love up north: Gorgeous Hanalei Bay with its amazing views of the mountains – a site to see after a rainfall when numerous waterfalls form – cascading down the mountains. There are also plenty of places to eat, shop and wander through with a shave ice from Wishing Well. Queens bath is a must see in Princeville, a natural tidepool to relax in where water from the ocean spills in over the lava rocks, refreshing the pool and you! And of course, the Na Pali Coast
which you can explore either on foot hiking the Kalalau Trail, a boat tour that will take you into sea caves or from the air on a helicopter tour where you can see sky-high waterfalls that are tucked in between the fluted cliffs. You will need to call the State Parks office to obtain a hiking permit in an effort to keep the trails less crowded and cared for. And if you love to snorkel, Tunnels Beach is the best on the island.

Down south we love: Take the Malihui Road tree tunnel (a one mile Eucalyptus-lined highway planted in 1911) to get the sunny shore beaches of Po’ipu Beach, Shipwreck Beach and Baby Beach. You will often find Hawaiian monk seals and turtles catching some rays on the beaches down here. Brennecke’s Beach Broiler is a great spot to eat while watching the waves. Old Koloa Town is a small, charming place to relax, shop and visit some history of the island. Spouting Horn is a fun place to stop and get your picture in front of water that shoots up to 50 ft in the air!

Waimea Canyon on the west side of the island has been nicknamed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific with it’s 3,600-feet deep gorges along the 14-mile-long and mile-wide expanse. Next door to it is the stunning Koke’e State Park which gives you amazing lookout points of the Napali Cliffs as well as several hiking trails such as Awa’awapuhi Trail which takes you as close to the cliffs as you can get on foot. Our favorite local place to hang is at Polihale State Park where you have 17 miles of gorgeous shoreline to enjoy which is never crowded because it is so big. You will need a jeep to get to the beach because the road to Polihale is not paved but the huge waves, sand dunes, cliffs and completely spectacular sunsets are worth it.
