The Shanti Space is a beautiful traditional Quinta bordering the forest of a national park. Cocooned by nature, our neighbours are an Iberian Wolf Sanctuary (yes we sometimes hear them howl!) and many animals like deer, wild boar and owls.

Yet we are so well connected. 15 minutes drive to the rugged Atlantic coastline, famous surf beaches and the charming, hip surf town Ericeira. 30 minutes to Lisbon, it's International Airport and Sintra.

Beds can be made for twin or double.

Bordering the Tapada da Mafra national park we are immersed in nature. There are great hikes, walks and activities in the park.

The Iberian Wolf Sanctuary is worth a visit when it is open on the weekend to see these majestic creatures.

The hip surf town of Ericiera is 15 minute drive away and offers an abundance of great restaurants and cafes.

Lisbon is within easy reach and it is a truly spectacular city.

The historic town of Sintra is a great day trip.

The stunning Palace of Mafra is nearby too.
