Create lasting memories and let your cares fade away. Picnic on the lawn or lounge on the two huge decks. Fish on our private dock! Roast marshmallows at the fire pit and then watch the sunset and falling stars on the upper deck. We provide baby gear/toys for free & we love hosting big families!

Warsaw is a small town but in a GREAT LOCATION: YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME! The town of Warsaw is small and walkable but is a "Retreat" of sorts--there are grocery stores and restaurants within minutes, but it is 20 miles away from major retail outlets and big box stores.

- Within an hour of Louisville, Cincinnati, and Lexington.
- Located between the ARK and Creation Museum--about 40 min drive to both.
- Celebrating? Just 7 miles away, you'll find the Belterra Casino and Golf Course as well as the Ridge Winery (one of many wineries with tasting rooms in the area.)
- Great restaurants and local establishments including Jewell’s on Main and the Sunset Grill
- Take a quick drive to historic Carrollton, KY or Madison, IN for a local festival or to find some antiques
- Old-fashioned ice cream at Shell’s in Vevay, IN (a favorite in our family! We highly recommend the Pralines and Cream.)
- Neeley Family distillery is a local place for Bourbon sampling.
- Deaton's market has a great breakfast selection--if you are from out of town, you must try goetta--traditional German food that is a blend of sausage, oats, and tiny bits of heaven.
- Riverfront Park is just 3 blocks away and has a playground, basketball court, shelter houses, fishing dock (in the late spring/summer) and a paved walking path for your family to enjoy.
- Gallatin County library is also within walking distance to our home.
- Smuggler's Cove Marina has pontoon rentals and transient slips for overnight if you bring your boat.

I’m an Assistant Principal at a local Middle School and my wife is a former teacher who now gets to be a full-time mom to our 3 off-the-wall kids. My wife and I have loved volunteering our time, and between the two of us, we have coached everything from volleyball to football, directed student leadership initiatives, and tutored students after school.

In my spare time I love to travel, work on cars, go boating, and relax with my family. My favorite international travel destinations have been Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy. These travels led me to an understanding of what amenities guests truly need when traveling and how to be an accommodating host.

We love being hosts and opening up our home to guests looking for a little R&R. My wife and I are devoted to making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible, so if there is anything at all I can do to earn your five-star rating, be sure and let me know. As parents, we know how difficult it is to travel with children, and we want to do whatever we can to make your stay more enjoyable. We have designed our homes with families in mind and have just about everything you and your kids might need. Our permanent residence is about an hour away and I know your vacation is valuable. We can schedule time to come by if any problems arise, but will give you complete privacy. As a family, it is much easier for us to set up the space before you arrive, so please let us know if there are any extras you require. We are also available at nearly anytime through text or phone.

If you have a request after 11pm, we ask that you wait until morning to contact us unless it is an emergency. In that case, please contact us as soon as possible.
