Tucked across from Garrison Bros, 5 minutes from many top wineries and 10 minutes from Stonewall and Johnson City. Fredericksburg and Luckenbach are close, too.

Working ranch with space to walk/run; a pickle court if that's your racket.

We are proud to offer a setting of peaceful privacy under a canopy of stunning trees. The only thing sharing your space is nature, wildlife and livestock.

A unique feature is access to our tennis court, complete with lights and lines for pickle. Another perk is covered private parking behind and adjacent to the guesthome.

We are so blessed to call this part of the Texas Hill County home and feel, in a way unique to your needs, the Hye and Bye will bless you, too!

Secluded on a private ranch, you will never feel like you're in the very heart of the wine trail. Some people come and seldom leave the porch; however, with five favorite wineries less than two miles away, Garrison Bros distillery right across the road and the historic town of Hye just a 1.5 mile drive, there's no better place to stay.

Albert, Texas is a FUN little bar. Only about 5 miles away... they have great music and a food truck (Cowboy Cantina) that is wonderful! They run out of food so get there early. Order the spicy chicken sandwich. YUM!!

And because "Ain't nobody feeling no pain..." when in town check out Luckenbach, Texas. It's a short 15 minute drive.

Coming to town for a wedding at the stunning Featherstone venue? We are less than 5 miles away... making us one of the closest (and most affordable) places for a group to stay. Drinking? You are not on the state highway more than a tenth of a mile!

Bluebonnets? Our drive is thick with them. You'll even have your own beautiful patch at the B&B! We still recommend the Willow City Loop.

Wife of thirty years, mother of two and YaYa to four … family makes my world turn. Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, I am proud of all the diversity that makes our community so special. After 30 plus years in education, I have retired and am falling right into the roles of ranch-hand, home renovator, grounds keeper, DIY enthusiast and antique collector. As busy as I am, I am always (make that usually) up to an outing at one of my favorite wineries, locals night at Albert Bar, a drive on country backroads or a good meal with friends.

We live on the ranch, but 100 yards away. This makes us readily available should you have needs, but far enough away to assure your privacy. There are no other neighbors for over a mile.

Also, one of the greatest perks of the Hye & Bye is the security we offer. You'll be almost a mile off the county road (down a paved road) with a covered carport. Your vehicle will always be safe, as is anything you leave in it. After traveling across the US from Oregon to Texas, we realized how valuable this unique perk is!
