The apartment operates on prepaid electricity and is for the guests account. However Kindly Note; we have preloaded R500.00 worth of electricity which is included in your stay. 

The apartment has a stairwell and is located on the 9th floor; access via a lift system

Our beach front holiday penthouse apartment has stunning ocean views, situated opposite The Strand Beachfront on Beach Road, The Strand.

An amazing place to call home during one’s stay . The penthouse contains 3 well-furnished bedrooms in a modern beachfront apartment block along The Golden Mile, The Strand Beachfront.

The perfect spot for your ideal holiday getaway.
There is easy access to the local’s shopping centres as well as the main beaches and a short scenic drive into the Boland where you will encounter a number wine farms for which you will be spoilt for choice. And is only a 25min commute to and from The Cape Town International Airport. The building itself is well secured with a continuous perimeter boundary wall and electrified fencing mounted above the wall. Access is via either a pedestrian gate or vehicle automated gate. Activation through these gates as well as the glass foyer and parking level doors is all via your mobile cellular phone. Your cellular number on arrival will be encoded into the building management system and deleted the day of your departure.

Guests will have full access to the entire apartment during their stay. The apartment has 3 fullsize bedrooms each equipped with a double bed complete with linen. The Main bedroom is en suite with its own private access to the bathroom equipped with a full size shower, bath and
heater towel rail. The 2nd bathroom is also a fully equipped bathroom and is shared between bedroom’s 2 & 3. There is 1 small guest bathroom to freshen up from. The entire apartment is piped throughout with hot water. The Main en suite bedroom has a flat screen TV and DVD player. The apartment has a large wrap around balcony and is furnished with outdoor furniture, a hanging swing chair as well as a new Weber Braai complete with utensils. The rest of the apartment is designed around open plan living as well as to maximise the ocean views from the large double glazed glass windows. The kitchen is spacious with modern appliances such as a Nespresso coffee maker as well as a kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, crockery and cutlery, microwave, as well as 3 red bar stools for Mornjng breakfasts. The kitchen itself boasts a washing machine and tumble-dryer. While the large lounge is equipped with WiFi and the local DSTV satellite off a 42inch flat screen smart TV (without sim, bring own sim). The apartment is also equipped with linen, bathroom essentials such as towels and an iron. The dining room is dominated by the 10 Seater Parques dining room table with a striking 1960’s red diner’s couch sitting in the background.

The building is immediately and easily recognisable with its roof designed around the “sail of a racing yacht, similar to that of the Dubai Hotel, Burj Al Arab. There are 2 lifts for the guest’s convenience. The building is beautifully maintained throughout all common areas and boasts a communal medium size swimming pool. Any outsourced cleaning will be done but for the guests account (not included in the rate quoted ).

The guest are assured of a certain amount of privacy as there are only 3 apartments per floor. The apartment is also offered for long term stays which can be discussed prior to booking. The apartment is equipped with first aid essentials and a fire extinguisher.

The apartment has a fully functional air-conditioner in the lounge and a portable one in the main bedroom. The other 2 bedrooms have small floor fans while the lounge has a beautiful free standing biofuel fireplace for those cozy chilly Cape nights.

Finally the apartment is before every booking stripped down and cleaned in accordance with Covid-19 strict cleaning protocols as well as Air BnB’s “ 5 steps to Covid-19 compliance”

The Strand is a resort town on the shore of False Bay with a beautiful 5km beach. The Strand is an ideal family spot for swimming, sunbathing and beach activities.

The promenade has a mixture of restaurants, cafés and shops which complement the shoreline. The main beach ‘Melkbaai’ is one of the safest bathing areas in the country. 

For young children, there is a mini golf-course and a super tube water slide around the corner.

A wide variety of sport including gold courses, tennis courts, rugby fields, squash clubs and fun water sports for the whole family to enjoy such as board sailing, surfing, power boating and paddle skiing are available.  If you get lucky you may even spot a dolphin or two. 

Surfing is very frequented sport in the Strand, a specific area at the end of the far beach is designated for surfing. The waves are safe for all, whether you are a beginner or professional.
