The large Oaks bedroom has a queen size featherbed, oak furniture, paintings and prints of nature and horses and hardwood floors. The smaller Vine bedroom has a queen sized featherbed. Both rooms have outside doors opening out to a deck shaded with wisteria and grape vines. This room is ideal for friends or family traveling together who want their own rooms but are willing to share a bathroom.

This is a large bedroom (The Oaks) and a smaller adjacent bedroom (The Vine) in our late 1930's ranch style home in the eastern hills of Napa Valley, California. These bedrooms have views of the ancient oak trees and forest through large windows. They both open up to a vine covered deck. This room option is ideal for families with teenage children, or two couples that don't mind sharing a bathroom, or two friends traveling together that want their own rooms but don't mind sharing a bathroom. The bedrooms are adjacent and their shared bathroom is detached but located on a hallway opposite the rooms. The property is a large ranch with a vineyard, winery and thoroughbred racehorses and lots of areas to explore.

Our ranch is in the rural Napa Agricultural Watershed. This is an American Viticultural Area known as Chiles Valley and the main agriculture is grapes, although there are cattle and horses too. Lake Berryessa is nearby.

Our secluded property, once a large thoroughbred horse and black angus ranch has been in my family for over 40 years. It reflects my husband's and my two passions: wine and horses. We breed and race thoroughbred horses and each spring just about the time new buds form on the grape vines, new foals are born.
The guesthouse is a rambling ranch style home with racing memorabilia, antiques, a large commercial style kitchen, wonderful views, decks, vegetable garden and pool area. We are an established Bed and Breakfast. We have been hosting guests here for more than 27 years. We have met wonderful people who have become great friends. Most people who stay here have an adventuresome spirit. They come here seeking an authentic experience in the wine country. Our remote ranch is surrounded by forest, hills and vineyards and is a natural, quiet and private setting.
