This apartment is meant to make your stay in Maribor unforgettable.
We were trying to stick to the original antique structure of the building while renovating so the space of the apartment is divided in only three areas. But all the rooms are very big. Basically the living room, kitchen and dining area are one big space. We added a mini office space to the bedroom in case you travel for work and a sauna with bathtub in the bathroom, so you will feel like you are staying in a spa.

The apartment is based in the walking zone of Maribor city center. Next door is a restaurant called Ancora it is open every day until 10pm. There is, of course, many more restaurants and shops just a few steps away. It is the perfect spot to explore the city centre and enjoy the night life as well.

WE ALL START AS STRANGERS, so let us introduce…We are Ana and Aljoša. Maribor is our home town and it is the loveliest little town on the planet. We have to kids and they are the centre of our world. We like nto spend time in nature and be creative. We love music jazz, reggae and rock music. Ana loves designing interiors for apartments and has also her own line of jewellery and home decor. Aljoša is a sports coach that loves skiing and surfing. We both have an interest in yoga and meditation, and I travel a lot. The past few years we’ve spent living and traveling in Asia. Susan Sontag put our plans so well in her quote: " I HAVEN'T BEEN EVERYWHERE, BUT IT'S ON MY LIST. "

Although we currently travel and live abroad, we still try to return to Maribor once a year and then never find a good moment to leave. While we are not in Maribor, we wish to share our home with other world explorers who will keep the house alive and find pleasure in the little things that made us fall in love with Maribor again and again - lovely little streets, small places to grab a meal, where everyone knows each other, coffee places, each with its own nostalgic vibe, the wonderful city park and the nearness of nature.
We can't promise that one of us will be your host in person, when you arrive in Maribor, but we do have a great team of friends and family that help us keep this Airbnb thing going. However we will be available here (online) to always answer your questions and to give you helpful advice about all the things you might want to experience in Maribor and throughout your journey in Slovenia.
