Welcome to our special mountain farm retreat and animal sanctuary! You'll have your own private bedroom, guest bathroom and private balcony (with guest access) in our cottage farm house. Immerse yourself in farm life as much or as little as you'd like. Meet our friendly animals as they roam free. Enjoy the beautiful 270° valley views and all the incredible birdlife and gardens. Only 13 minutes from the M1 Pacific Highway and 30 minutes to Forster beaches.

Enjoy your own private balcony with a spectacular view. We have a dedicated guest bathroom and we welcome you to use the shared kitchen for tea, coffee and breakfast. Phone reception is excellent with Optus & Telstra and we offer free WiFi with high-speed internet. If you would like a hearty and home-cooked vegetarian dinner, please let us know when you book (only $10pp cash) - it's sure to make you feel full and satisfied! Many of the ingredients we use come from our own veggie patch or local farmers. We're often cooking anything from Mediterranean, Asian, Indian, Italian and more! The kitchen cooking facilities are not available for guests, however you can use the microwave to reheat meals you have brought along. Simple breakfast items are supplied in the morning at your leisure: cereals, toast, spreads, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, and we keep a very tasty soy milk in the fridge. If you prefer dairy, please bring this along with you and you can store it in the fridge.

Firefly is a gorgeous little area with beautiful rolling hills an the best and friendliest community there is. Situated perfectly on the mid-north coast, you feel like your miles away from everything, but in reality you're just under half an hour to beautiful beaches at Forster (swimming, surfing, whale watching and dolphins) and 13 minutes away from the town of Nabiac, with its charming boutique shops, grocery store, bakery, service station, pharmacy and more.
The start of the Barrington Tops (world-class bush walks) is about 45 minutes away, and about the same to the Great Lakes for some kayaking and canoeing. Our local "watering hole", Krambach Pub, is warm and welcoming and less than 10 minutes away.

Hi! We're Alex and Val, a young couple who recently moved from Sydney to take on farm life! We'll greet you when you arrive and give you plenty of space to settle in. You may see us quietly pottering around in the paddocks during the day. If you'd like, we'd love to take you around to meet our resident alpacas, sheep and chickens and show you some of our favourite spots on the property - simply let us know. We are happy for you to join in on our morning farm chores (great for the kids or kids at heart) or just take a back seat and enjoy the fruits of our labour! :)
