Our comfortable, newly renovated apartment has the perfect location at the edge of the old town - close enough that all the city is right on your doorstep (4 mins walk to the cathedral & city hall). It has a gorgeous terrace that catches the morning sun, 2 large bedrms, wifi, washing machine, oven & a smart TV. We have a small parking space (212x450) free to use for guests in the building directly across the road.

One of the bedrooms contains a large queen-sized bed (160x200cm) and looks out onto a green park area and olive tree. The morning sun really streams into this bedroom and it's lovely to wake up to, but there are also inbuilt roller blinds on the outside of the window which keep the room perfectly dark until you're ready to get woken by that sun! The second bedroom contains 2 single beds (80x190cm) which can be pushed together to make a queen bed, and also has roller blinds on the windows. Both bedrooms contain large wardrobes and desk areas with ethernet plugs.

The apartment is very quiet - with the view out onto the green park you almost feel like you're out in the country, belying the fact that just across the road you are right in the heart of the old town - you're also just enough away from the noisy central city bars and restaurants to get a good nights sleep!

The open plan kitchen and lounge area opens up onto the cute and comfortable terrace area - there's seating for up to 4 people both out on the terrace as well as around the kitchen island.

There's free wifi and the TV is a 43" smart TV with access to internet; Netflix, youtube. If you have your own Netflix account you can log onto that, otherwise you are welcome to use ours. For winter guests the apartment is cosy and snug with central heating controlled by a thermostat inside the apartment so guests can control the desired temperature easily. There is also a washing machine in the apartment for guest use.

The kitchen is another room where the morning sun just streams in; it is fully equipped and contains an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster and electric cook top.

Although the apartment does not have an elevator, it's just one short flight of stairs (9 steps) from the street level.

We have a parking space available for guest use in the building directly accross the road. The parking space is very easy to access, being on ground level of the building, but it is slightly narrow, as it is located between a wall on one side and a column on the other (212cm wide at it's narrowest point) and 450cm long. It fits most small-medium sized cars (though sometimes side mirrors need to be folded in) but not large cars or vans. If you have a large car/van there is a very reasonably priced parking building just a 2 minute walk away on our street - prices range for €7-€12 per night depending on the length of stay. **IMPORTANT: Please be aware that it is the guests responsibility to read this description and check that their car fits into the space. If it does not we will not reimburse the cost of the parking building nor refund any money**.

the Oviedo old town is very charming, with gorgeous old buildings - my favourite is the El Fontan food market which is just a short 4 minute walk from the apartment. Our street is just on the very edge of the old town which is very convenient because it's the very last street you can access by car (car access in the old town is limited to residents only). It is also one of the only areas in central Oviedo where there is still some free street parking available.
