Welcome to Sandy's Pacific Beach House and Game Room! A great place to relax, reacquaint, and have fun. There is a large, fully fenced, backyard with a swingset, child's climbing wall, 2 story fort, and slide. There is a gas grill on the deck. Whether you book a group or just have a quiet get away for two, we provide the essentials in a stylish, up-to-date vacation home that's a short walk to the beach and just a half mile from popular Seabrook amenities.

Love horseback riding? Planning a stay at Sandy's Pacific Beach House? Ocean Shores is just minutes from Pacific Beach. Here are a few places that offer horseback riding on the beach! This is a "whole house" listing. You and the other guests on your reservation will be the only people occupying the property during your stay. Our Beach House has 2400 square feet of living space. What sets us apart, besides the great ocean and beach views, is the GAME ROOM (see description below). It provides something to do TOGETHER late at night, or on even the rainiest, stormy days. (There are also board games, cards, movies, etc. in the great room upstairs.)

The View: The 160 degree sparkling ocean and beach views can be seen from the living room and dining areas. There is also a view of the ocean and beach from the kitchen window and from the 2 bedrooms downstairs.

Main floor: Is upstairs and boasts a "great room" with gas fireplace, dining, reclining couches, smart TV, a good sized kitchen with brand new GE Adora appliances, gas grill on the deck, and a powder room. Out the sliding glass door is a huge wrap around deck and the propane grill. Also on that floor is the master bedroom with King bed, Smart TV, and its private bathroom with travertine tile.

(There is a set of about 12 stairs, with a large landing between them, from the first floor up to the main floor.)

First Floor: On the first floor is the front door entry (stairs lead from the driveway to the front door), the laundry room (with new washer and dryer), a bedroom with 1 queen bed and smart TV, a bedroom with bunkbed (2 twins) and queen bed, and a full bathroom in the hallway. Each of these bedrooms has sliding glass doors opening on to the large lower deck, where ocean and beach views can be enjoyed.

There are also 2 deluxe twin, memory foam, foldout cots for use. They are in the closet by the front door but can be placed anywhere in the house.

The Game Room: Downstairs is the game room with pool table, shuffle board, air hockey, Foosball, dart board, a big smart TV, and a full size fold down futon for relaxing or sleeping. (bed linens provided in tub under the shuffleboard table).

Back Yard: The huge back yard is fully fenced in with a 6' privacy fence, a complex children's swingset and fort, and 2 picnic tables.

HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH:
Most people prefer to drive onto the beach at the Analyde Gap Rd. entrance. But there is also a nice walk to the walk-on beach entrance in Pacific Beach itself.
To drive to beach:
The 2 minute drive to the beach is 7 tenths of a mile.
Exit the driveway and turn right onto 1st St. N.
Travel ½ mile and turn left onto Homer St.
Travel 295 feet and turn right onto Analyde Gap Rd.
The beach entrance is in 2 tenths of a mile. Drive onto the beach to the right (driving to the left is off limits except in winter) and drive or park anywhere.

To walk to beach:
Exit the driveway and turn left onto 1st St. N. There is a paved sidewalk to follow.
Walk down the hill toward town.
Where 1st St. N. becomes Main St. you will (almost immediately) turn right onto 1st St. South.
Take 1st St. South for about 2 blocks then turn right onto Sheahan trail. Follow the short trail to the beach.

GUEST ACCESS AT THE HOUSE
The person who booked the property must be present during the length of the stay. No outside guests or visitors are permitted. Only those numbered on the reservation may access the property.

Guests on the reservation may access the entire house, with the exception of the locked closet in the game room.

Smoking is permitted outdoors. Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind permitted in the house or gameroom.

There are 2 outdoor security cameras that record video 24/7, one on the side of the house and one on the front of the house, directed at the driveway- no audio.

A $400 refundable security deposit is required, and will be placed as a hold on primary guest's credit card.

A signed rental agreement is required, and will be sent after booking. Access to the house will not be granted without signing this agreement.

Interaction with guests:
We won't be on location during your stay but we are just a message, text or phone call away. The hospitality staff does live locally and can be called on to lend assistance when needed.

Other information:

Quiet time is 10pm to 8am.

Guests supply their own beach towels.

Maximum length of stay is 7 days. Please contact the host to request a longer stay.

Your price is calculated based on the number of guests. The base price covers the first 2 guests. After that it is $20 per guest per night. Only the guests numbered in the reservation are permitted on the property.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome, with a $75 total fee. No cats or other species of pets/animals.

Electric car charging is NOT available at the house.

OUR "RE-BOOKED REFUND GUARANTEE": If you should have to cancel outside the refund period (unless you chose the nonrefundable discounted rate), and someone else rebooks your dates, we will refund you.

We are a family that loves to ski, hike, camp, kayak...and travel! At our cabin in Packwood all these activities are right outside our door. Our dog, Chester, loves Packwood and his cabin (his favorite part of the cabin is the staircase to the loft, of all things). We own Chester's Cabin and also the Large Cottage on Butter Creek, both in Packwood. We also own The Deckhouse in Hoodsport WA which is close to Olympic National Park.

After using Airbnb during our own travels (very positive!) we decided to host our own place. This is just the kind of challenge and adventure we embrace because it involves meeting and working with real people who love the same things we love.

What draws us to Packwood, in addition to the recreation, is the peacefulness and friendly people. One of our favorite spots in town is the Butter Butte Coffee Co. coffee house. It is named after Butter Butte in the Tatoosh Mountain Range, which can be seen, in full display, from our cabin's huge kitchen window.

If you are staying at Yellow Cottage or Chester's Cabin there are just so many great things to do in the Packwood area. For out-of-towners it gives you easy access to Mount Rainier National Park (20 minutes), White Pass (30 minutes), and even a drive down to Mount Saint Helens Volcanic Monument is just over 2 hours (which makes a great day trip).

If you are staying at The Deckhouse in Hoodsport there is boating, fishing, hiking, shellfish harvesting, along the Hood Canal and in the Olympic National Forest.
