Idyllic small cabin on island located on a beautiful iceland in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. The cabin is only avaliable by boat/canoe (15-30 min. paddeling from the mainland). The mainland area around the island is rural, and it's not possible to get there by public transport (bus/train).
You need a car to get to the small village Rørholt.
Included: canoe and two life vests.
No bathroom. You can swim in the lake. The water in the lake is drinkable. No electricity. Bring sleeping bags :)

A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy natures silence.
In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. From the beginning of August you can pick blueberries in the forest. The lake is quite big, and there are lots of campsites along the shore.

There are other cabins on the island, but nobody lives there on a permanent basis.

There is an organic toilet 250 m walk from the cabin.
If you need to charge your phone or other electronic devices, there is an outdoor socket on the corner of the white farmhouse in the island.
There is a double bed, a table and two chairs and a woodburning oven in the cabin.
You need to bring sleeping bags.
Please do not light fires on the ground from April 15th to September 15h due to risk of forest fires.
You can drink the water in the lake.
