We feel that how we clean our lofts, is one of the things that helps set us apart. Each loft is disinfected with a CDC approved antiviral/antibacterial cleaner after each guest. Linens are also washed after each stay to ensure that your room will be as fresh as possible. All mattresses and pillows are fitted with anti-allergen covers and each loft has a Hepa air filtration system to protect against air borne allergens and viruses.

Original 1920s wood flooring, exposed wooden beams with ceiling fan, ample windows with a window seat, built in bookshelves and plaster walls all add to the character of this loft. The residents in this neighborhood are mostly a mix of university students and professors. This apartment is across the hall from our other AirBnB, The Coop, and across the courtyard from The Nest and Perch.

The apartment contains a plush double (full) bed, TV with streaming content (Roku featuring, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Pluto and more), High speed WiFi, very small bathroom (toilet and sink close to each other) with full sized shower, small fridge, Keurig coffee maker, snacks, microwave, kitchen sink, dishes, utensils, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, and Hepa air purifier.

Our studio is cleaned and sanitized before each new guest. Bed is made with fresh linens and clean towels are provided. The mattress and pillows are protected with anti-allergy/bed bug/dust mite covers.

Many of our guests arrive from the airport via Uber as this is a very walkable location that does not require a car for most downtown areas of interest.

One free off-street parking is included with your booking. We may be able to accommodate a second vehicle, but please check with us in advance.

We usually allow late check ins, but please message us first. This upstairs apartment's private entrance (just one flight of stairs) is located just off of the alleyway where you will park your car. The studio door has a digital keypad lock that is individually programmed with a unique code for your security.

We will meet you when you arrive to direct you to your parking spot and to go over a few details about the studio. We welcome guests to self check in upon return visits.

One free parking spot is included with your booking. The spot in front of the apartments is tight due to our proximity to campus and best for small to midsized vehicles, but we can offer an optional parking spot in the parking lot right next door to accommodate oversized vehicles. Space is at a premium in this area making a free parking spot a nice amenity for our guests. We can sometimes accommodate early/late vehicle parking to save you parking meter or parking deck fees if arranged with us. Smaller vehicles will be assigned a garage spot. We are not responsible for your vehicle or any of its contents during your stay.

We highly recommend the Soda City Market on Saturday mornings over on Main Street. Its a great farmers market with food trucks and many arts and crafts vendors.

The historic University Hill neighborhood is a great centralized neighborhood with historic houses from the early 1900s. Out apartment is 3 blocks from 5 Points (restaurants, shopping, and bars), a 10 minute walk to the State House, a block from the 2 century old Horseshoe featuring the schools oldest historic buildings and stately Live Oak trees from the early 1800s, 15 minutes from Main street (downtown buildings) restaurant/bars/bowling alley, historic movie theater and the great Saturday Soda City Market and a 20 minute walk to the Vista warehouse district featuring restaurants, bars, art galleries, and shopping. We are within 20 minutes walk of all the concert venues.

The game day football shuttle (free to Carolina students) is only 1 block away from our apartment just past the campus front gates and only costs $3 per person.

When we give you travel times to the popular locations, they are walking times. Drive times are 0 minutes to USC, 2 mins to 5pts and about 5 minutes to Main street and the Vista.

Many of our guests arrive from the airport via Uber as this is a walkable location that does not require a car.

We are members of Historic Columbia and enjoy learning about the history of our city. Our love for older properties and appreciation for the warm character of Columbia's architecture is what brought us to rehabilitating these turn of the century apartments.
