The lodge is cosy, well-equipped & comfortably furnished. Perfect for friends, families, couples and outdoor enthusiasts who are looking for a relaxing escape to a part of the country surrounded by ancient forests, epic mountains, scenic lochs and a pretty coastline.

Guests are provided with the use of hotel-quality luxury towels, bed linen and superfast fibre broadband at no extra cost.

You can relax on a private, covered veranda and take in the surrounding forests and mountains. We regularly see red squirrels, many types of unusual birds and deer.

*KITCHEN - NEW*
Induction hob, grill, steam oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, full sized fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee maker. Mugs, coffee cups, plates (flat, side & pasta), bowls, cutlery, pots & pans, glasses, cooking utensils and serving dishes. Cooking oil, salt, pepper and a starter pack of tea, coffee and sugar will be supplied. Alcove dining area for six people.

*LIVING ROOM*
Italian leather 3-seater sofas and an armchair. Spacious and light lounge with 42” TV / DVD player, Roku streaming device (so you can log in to your Netflix, Sky or Amazon Prime account), hi-fi with i-pod dock, books, films and board games. HDMI cable for TV so you can link it to your laptop or games console.

*BEDROOM 1 - MASTER*
King sized bed, electric blanket, wash hand basin, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

*BEDROOM 2 - DOUBLE*
King sized bed, electric blanket, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

*BEDROOM 3 - TWIN*
Two full sized single beds suitable for adults or children, electric blankets, wardrobe and chest of drawers. One of the single beds can be set low for younger children. This room can also be converted into a double or a writer’s room / study.

*BATHROOM*
Electric shower, bath, wash hand basin. Luxury hand towels, bath towels & face cloths are supplied.

*OUTDOOR SPACE*
Covered and gated veranda with views of the surrounding forest and mountains. Table and chairs for six people, picnic table, parking spaces for two cars.

*EXTRAS*
Cot with mattress (please bring your own bedding), baby bath, changing mat and high chair available.
Washing machine / dryer.
Superfast fibre broadband.

Guests are given full access to all areas of the lodge but we ask that you only use the bedrooms you need. We include £50 electricity in every booking, with any excess taken from your deposit at the end of your stay.

I live in Strone with my partner Colin - we travel as much as we can and enjoy the wonderful countryside around us. When we're travelling we're especially interested in visiting museums, art galleries and historic/archaeological sites. We love good food, music and discovering truly local culture.

We recently travelled to Italy and had our first Airbnb experience staying in Florence. It went really well!
