Note: Access to the basement is at the rear of the house - walk along the side of the house on grass to access.

This private 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom basement apartment is located within our family home and has its own separate entrance. Guests have a dedicated parking space in the driveway and access to a shared porch/entry area with a coffee bar.

The apartment includes its own kitchenette, dining area, and living room, along with a private bedroom and bathroom. We live upstairs with our children, so you may occasionally hear normal household activity from above.

The entire basement is private to guests, including the staircase, bedroom, bathroom, living area, dining area, and kitchenette.

Guests access the basement through our shared enclosed porch, which includes a coffee bar. The exterior porch door is used for guest access but may also be used by our family. From the porch, guests enter the private basement through the door at the top of the stairs. The porch also provides access to our upstairs home, which is private and not accessible to guests.

The path to the basement entrance is currently unpaved due to ongoing landscaping and may be muddy, wet, snowy, or uneven depending on the weather.

The basement entrance opens directly onto the staircase. There is no landing at the first step, so please use caution when entering. The head clearance at the bottom of the stairs is approximately 5'8".

Before accepting a reservation, we ask guests to review and agree to our household rules and may ask a few questions to make sure the space is a good fit for their stay.
