Munich city Tour with Beers & Dinner
With a beer in hand,we will take in many of the main old city sites,Marienplatz, food market,MaxJosefplatz, Maxamillianstr, beer halls and churches, all whilst talking about the significance beer has had on the lives of peoples through the ages, talk about the traditional Bavarian dress and customs and of course the Oktoberfest. Numerous churches will be encountered along the way, the significance of the relationship between beer and bible, the transition of beer from food to adult luxury beverage all explained. Munich's famous beer garden culture will be detailed and lots of other beery places for you to explore on your own at a later point will be highlighted. Then to the beatifully, newly refurbished Beer and Oktoberfest Museum Stubl for a beer tasting. Followed by a private tour through the museum itself. Via special access to the museum, which is closed at that time to the general public, the origins and developments of the Oktoberfest, refrigeration and beer marketing, amongst a number of topics to be covered. The dinner provided can vary, however, generally large platters as illustrated. Vege and vegan options also available. We'll meet at the bottom of the Glockenspiel Tower of the new town hall on Marienplatz (the olg gothic looking tower with the figures half way up) and go from there! Looking forward to showing you around!
Munich - A History of War and Peace
Meet me for a world history walk in Munich and dive into a past of war and peace. We will stand, where the celebrations of the breakout of World War I - the "great seminal catastrophe" of the 20th century - took place and where Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch ended in gunfire. We will learn, why the Nazis called Munich "the capital of the movement" and why the era between 1914-1945 is rightly considered the 2nd Thirty Years War. We will talk about Napoleon and his huge impact on German identity and unification and learn, how these disastrous wars of the past defined our new today and times of peace. This will be a high level lecture from a real expert and I promise you that these two hours will still leave you confused at the end - but on a much higher level. Because I always want to encourage dialogue and the exchange of views, knowledge and philosophical thoughts about history and mankind, our groups are always small and non-touristy. PLEASE NOTE: The length of the tour sometimes depends on the size of the group and the amount of questions - so maybe count in +/- 15-20 minutes. Please feel free to ask me about a private or unscheduled tour. Und natürlich biete ich die Tour auch auf Deutsch an.

Munich In & Out
We’ll explore Munich’s “Altstadt” (Old Town) by foot. This place is considered the true heart of Munich and where so much of today's hustle and bustle takes place. Along the way we'll wind past old streets, plush shops, local farmers’ markets, iconic churches and, of course, Munich's beer gardens! All of this while exploring the history of landmarks both striking and indistinct; the fun, the dark, and even the outright strange!

Discovering Bavarian Food in Munich
Munich is an old city and full of history to tell. Going through historic buildings and places is key, but they also carry the gastronomic history of the city. Thus, we will know the central square of the city, the open air market, an amazing patissèrie and the main breweries of the city. At each point I will explain its history, the importance if its existence and which symbols products of that place. This is a walking tour where the focus is gastronomy. At the end of the course you can choose one or more places to have your typical meal, knowing exactly what to order and which beer to take. Other things to note The tour should last about two hours and all routes will be made on foot, so comfortable shoes and clothes are indicated as well as water. IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not stop in restaurants or breweries. The idea is to guide you across the city and help you to make your meal choice. The food after is by the guest and is not included in the price.

Party at Munich’s „Little Oktoberfest"
Did you miss the Oktoberfest? No problem! There is another opportunity to enjoy the Oktoberfest atmosphere: Munich’s Spring Festival called „Little Oktoberfest“. It takes place at Theresienwiese, the home of the Oktoberfest. Many foreigners don't know about it and ignore it. So you’ll be part of a quite local experience. I made reservations for tables from 5pm until 10:00pm in a traditional beer tent. Let´s enjoy traditional Bavarian food! Let´s sing Oktoberfest songs and dance on the benches to the sound of Oktoberfest bands! Let´s enjoy an unforgettable party! You will be part of an international group of beer and party fans. It is no fun to go there alone or as couple. You have to be part of a group in order to enjoy the party atmosphere.
Night-out in LGBT district
We meet at Sendlinger Tor: the entrance to the LGBT district called Glockenbachviertel. From there on we check out one of my favorite bars and taste local Bavarian beer. Depends on the weekday we could catch a happy hour. After beers we move to another bar down the street to get cocktails. Later we proceed to a nightclub with an open-end, either staying till the morning or going home earlier.
