This was such a fun activity! When I first saw what we were going to make during class, I really thought I was going to mess it up. However, I left class with three beautiful origami pieces! I recommend using origami paper. I used typing paper cut into squares and it worked fine, but your finished product will look much prettier with origami paper.

Manami was fantastic and was so patient and calming. Great historical and personal details were shared about Japanese culture and origami practice. Highly calming and great in our large group of almost 20 people.

Manami is really patient and was able to walk us on each step with calm and in a clear way. She also provides a few comments on each origami story and how it is associated with the Japanese culture. Our team enjoyed a lot the experience!

We loved our origami session with Manami!!! She was friendly, knowledgable and extremely passionate about Japanese culture. She shared so much fascinating information about Japanese culture and origami. We were able to choose our origami styles for the session and her instructions were clear, brilliantly paced and supportive throughout. I would recommend this session to anyone who has been to Japan, wants to go to Japan or is just interested in Japanese culture. You will be be disappointed!
