St Abbs is in a really good situation, easy walking distance from railway station and bus stop. It's just around the corner from the renowned Birnam Arts Centre and Beatrix Potter exhibition and garden. There's a good choice of nice eating places close by. I live in the house also, though sometimes I am away. Guests are free to access the living room where there is a log fire- there's a piano and guitars which are there to be played! There is parking in the driveway or on the street.

The Lodge, Heath Park

The Lodge is the two storey annexe of Heath Park which was one of the holiday homes of Beatrix Potter. It is within easy walking distance of the rail station and intercity bus stop. A car parking space is also adjacent to the house. The Lodge has been recently refurbished with a new ensuite bathroom and kitchen and new furniture. It is accessed through the main gates of Heath Park which lead to a stone gateway and small hard landscaped area.
