After we meet at "Bab Souk" , we will head straight up out of chefchaouen for our hike in mountains and walk around 40 minutes up hill before stopping to enjoy a fabulous view of the blue pearl in a place overlooking chefchaouen. Then, it will be between 1 and 1/2 hour walk waiting for us along the mountain side, and we may pass shepherds with their goats and there will be a lot of opportunities to stop and take photos of the amazing views from the mountain. As we reach the village of kalaa, we will go to a calm farm that belongs to my father, we will be welcomed with fresh tea with herbs from the farm followed by a tajine of vegetables from the farm, and checken or beef and sometimes fresh rabbit from the farm (if you are vegetarian or vegan, then it will be just of vegetables from the farm). We will spend some time enjoying the village view in the terrace under trees and talk to my father who is a man from this village he has a lot to say about his area and mountains life. From here on we can either walk the 2 hours back to chefchaouen via a new road or go for a ride home by a local mercedes "Taxi".

You will immediatly have a hike with me from chefchaouen to ackchour, But this one is a special one, because i'll take you through mountain and to places that only locals know, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and the mountain vibes. We will meet in the morning at 8:00 AM in "Bab Souk" and we'll head straight up out of chefchaouen for our hike in mountain until we get to the top of El Kalaa village (my village) where we'll stop seeing the village and get lost in mountain enjoying fabulous views and cool air until we arrive to fresh water source where i will make you some fresh coffee and warm up some crapes made by my mum and have a little breakfast. Then we will go down to a river, it will be a challenge to go down but it's good adventure. After an hour of walking we'll have a homemade lunch with some fruits, and we'll complete our journey to the top of God Bridge in Akchour, then we go down to the river and get some good views of God Bridge. If we arrive early before it get dark in the river, we could spend an hour in the river, swim, get tea or juice.., i could also take you to see God bridge, it's about 20 minutes hiking up across the river. By Then, our trip will be finished, and we could take a taxi and go back to chefchaouen. We could also stay in akchour that night, and next day i take you to akchour's waterfalls, Ain Dano.. wich is an other hike!

You will immediatly have a hike with me up to the top of Akchour river where the water of God's bridge comes from (Ain Dano source), there is a river with fresh water coming out of a cave, and we'll go by a waterfall, beautiful pools and landscape. We will meet in the morning at 8:30 AM in "Bab Souk", then we will take a taxi to akchour (45 min driving) and start our hiking going up the mountain to the top of a village called Oueslaf and arrive to a location overlooking Akchour where we'll take a little break under a carob tree. Then we will have around an hour left hiking until we reach the river of Farda. We will have our lunch over an arch where you could also swim , and we will start going up the river and go through a beautiful waterfall with clean water where most of our guests love to swim. After that, we will go up the river for a few more minutes and arrive to a water source cave of the river where the water of akchour river comes from. Now, we will go down to Akchour and pass over the top of god's bridge, we'll have some good views of god's bridge and get down to Akchour river where we could enjoy it by relaxing with our feet soaked in the water and we could get some fresh mint tea, orange juices from some small restaurants operated by locals. By Then, our hike will be finished, and we can take a taxi back to chefchaouen.

Finally, I will guide you to the beautiful Spanish mosque where we will get an amazing panoramic view of the city and enjoy the beautiful sunset. The whole tour will take approximately 2.5-3 hours and end accordingly upon time of sunset, usually taking place between 4-7PM. Other things to note Please wear comfortable shoes as we will be walking quite a lot within the city as well as the hike up to the Spanish Mosque. We will be taking a lot of stairs as well as walking on small hills.

In this experience, the day will be devoted to explore and discover the medina of Chefchaouen, and learning about it’s history, culture and daily lifestyle, in addition of visiting the Spanish Mosque to have the greatest panoramic view in town. First After picking you up from your hotel, or your Airbnb accommodation, we’ll start by walking through the hidden corners in the medina which has 7 main neighbourhoods, and 7 Doors. While introducing you to the Andalou-Amazigh history and culture. We’ll be able To visit the main spots to take the most stunning pictures in town, then we’ll visit the Kasbah (the main fortress which was founded in the 15 century), after spending about a 30 min in the Kasbah to see the garden, the towers, and the old prison. We’ll head up to the Spanish Mosque - a lunch Break is provided in a local restaurant under your needs- On our way to the Spanish mosque we’ll pass by the river to see the water springs, the old laundry system, and the orange trees. After heading to the Mosque, a 30 minute break is provided to enjoy the view and take pictures. Afterwards we’ll get back to the medina to Go the market and pass by the neighbourhood of Swika (the commercial neighbourhood of Chefchaouen) This tour is very customised and everything is up to the guests walking capacity. The activity ends in the main square or your accommodation in Chefchaouen.

Join me and my family on one of the most unique cooking classes in Morocco. We will first start by choosing a dish you would want to make, we are providing a wide variety of Moroccan Tajines to choose from. Then we'll make a little tour to the Chefchaouen's local market to pick what we're going to need (optional). Once we are done with groceries we'll head straight to the cooking class location. The location of this experience makes it extra special for so many reasons such as, the location on the mountain overlooking Chefchaouen's medina, you'll be surrounded by nothing except beautiful nature, (hopefully by the time you take our experience we'll be having some of the farms produce ready such as, almonds, cactus, figs ...). once we make it to the farm each guest will have his own table that has everything you need to make the dish you chose. Aside from the main dish you choose for the experience three of the most famous Moroccan vegetable starters will be included in the class. Me and my mom and cousin will guide you through every step of the process, and make sure that you have everything you need. Will meet you the big squares next to the kasaba and 9:30 am to take our advantage of the sun and good weather. We will go by share taxi to the beginning of the road where we will start the fantastic route to the waterfalls of Akchour. We will make a mountain route through the Akchour canyon, bypassing the river and enjoying the spectacular views. We will stop at the two largest waterfalls of the Camnio, where we will have a snack to continue with the route. Approximately 5 hours of route in full nature. We will enjoy the transparent waters of the river and waterfalls, stop for a Moroccan tea in the middle of the river, where we can put our feet in the water. The trekking is of a medium level, where children can also participate. After spending the morning surrounded by nature we will return to the starting point, where the car will wait for us. As an optional part you can stop to eat at a restaurant near the river, surrounded by nature.

akchour is one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. this national park is about 30 km from Chefchaouen. Akchour is accessible by taxi. a collective taxi costs 3 Euro/persons ( one way). A private Taxi costs 22 Euro ( one way) along the gorge there are small snacks and possibilities to buy drinks and juices. There are great places to swim. i am always very happy to be here and would like to show you this beautiful place. The program: Meeting point: at 9:00 in the morning at the Guesthouse Dar Sababa ( Rue Kaiklana Nr 4) we'll start together. next to the city gate Bab Souk will the taxi be waiting for us. After about 35 minutes we reach the parking in Akchour. there are two routes in Akchour: a hike to the waterfalls and a hike to the God Bridge ( both routes are beautiful and take 2.5 hours each ( one way) you can choose between the two routes. after the hike we come back to Akchour parking lot. we'll take together the taxi back to Chefchaouen ( Taxi is the price included) Drinks and food are not included in the price i am very looking forward to seeing you!
