Spend lazy afternoons by the freshwater pool, mornings working out in the yoga-dome, and nights stargazing from a lounge chair. When you’re ready to hit the beach, drive 20-minutes to Cape Byron. In the morning, the surf is legendary, and lessons are easy to find. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, check out some of the dive sites along the reef. After, snap a few pictures of the iconic lighthouse at the edge of Cape Byron State Conservation Park. If you’re traveling between June and November, pack a picnic and find a lookout spot along the coast, you might just spot a humpback whale or two.
